                                    ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

                                                OCTOBER 31, 2013

10:30 A.M.      Called meeting to order. Present Paula B. Keefe, Richard B. Gorden, Ellen W. Abelson and Mark J. Mazur.

1. The Board reviewed information concerning a property that has been over assessed for several years in preparation for meeting with relatives of the owner later in the meeting.

2. The Board discussed their request that the Board of Selectmen authorize remote participation during Board meetings.

3. The Board discussed the request of a property owner to have their property considered exempt for FY2014.

4. The Board took the following actions on Fiscal Year 2014 applications for exemption for the owners of the following parcels:

11:15 A.M.      Taxpayer meeting with Julia Wood, Amelia Lydon and Stephen Washburn to discuss the assessments of parcels 101-68 and 101-69 since Fiscal Year 2007

12:10 P.M.      Taxpayer meeting ended.

5. The Board reviewed the draft of a request for special permission under MGL Chapter 58 Section 8 to abate the taxes of parcel 101-68.

6. The Board decided to hold their next meeting at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday November 6, 2013.
